I’m so sorry for the loss of your baby.

Losing a sweet baby that’s been prayed for, patiently waited for, and loved deeply is an incredibly painful experience. It’s a loss that leaves a void in your heart and an ache in your soul.

Please remember you’re not alone in your suffering and sorrow. Our loving Father in Heaven did not want you to face this life alone, especially when you’ve been grieving for your unborn child for a long time.

It’s my hope and prayer that you’ll find the comfort and peace only heaven can provide by reading God’s word and these miscarriage scriptures.

These verses have brought me and so many other women great comfort, and I pray they do the same for you as you grieve the loss of a child – your beautiful baby.

Your merciful father in heaven sees and knows every pain, sorrow, and suffering that you’re experiencing. He promises to be right next to you in your time of grief. Not only with you in your pain, but to heal your wounds and broken heart.

Proverbs 13:12 – God Makes Eternal Life With Our Families Possible

There’s a place and a side of heaven that is saved just for you and your baby girl or boy. A place of eternal peace, joy, and love. Hold onto this truth in times of sorrow, knowing that one day you will again hold your precious baby and will be able to raise them with the Lord.

1 Peter 5:10 – God Will Bless You More Than He Asks You To Suffer

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast.

The first time I learned about the miscarriage of a pregnant woman (who’s asked to remain anonymous) we both wept. And that’s all she wanted at that time.

Someone to cry with her, to recognize she had life inside her, that the pain of miscarriage is real, and that pregnant women are still mothers, even though the mourn the loss of their baby.

The first time together was mourning and grieving. And overtime thoughts of peace and the comfort God gives began to come.

There’s still remembrances and times of mourning. And the best way to keep moving forward through your hard time is to give yourself permission to mourn, grace to heal, and time to understand God’s perfect plan for you and your baby.

Job 1:21 – The Lord Gives and Takes

“And he said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”

Psalm 30:10-12 – The Lord Will Be Your Helper

The most important thing to remember during this journey of motherhood is that you are not alone.

You will always be a mother, your child’s mother. Trust in His plan for you and your baby, for He has fearfully and wonderfully created both of you.

How Will You Feel After A Miscarriage?

You’re experiencing a flood of emotions that seem compare to a raging storm in your soul.

Anger.

Confusion.

Overwhelming sadness at the loss of so many beautiful dreams.

The good news is it’s okay for you to feel all these raw and real emotions. God did not give us blank slates for our minds just to “go through the motions” of life.

He knows perfectly our greatest joys and our painful trembling of sorrow that keep you up at night. He sees you, He loves you, and He longs to help you through this difficult time.

Good things will come again. We live in a fallen world, but that doesn’t mean you have to sit in the darkness.

So don’t be afraid to turn to the Father of Mercies for comfort and guidance. And remember, it’s okay to not be okay right now. Let yourself grieve and process in your own time and in your own way.

God will be there with open arms whenever you’re ready to lean on Him. He is the ultimate source of strength and hope in times of suffering.

God takes our own personal Gethsemanes and makes them beautiful.

It’s God’s promises through the power of Christ that allows you the gift to lean on Him and let Him grieve with you. By doing this you’ll have some of the most sacred experiences in this mortal life.

Families are meant to be forever, and through His atoning sacrifice, our Savior makes it possible for us to be reunited with our precious little ones.

And though you may not fully understand the why’s and how’s of this life, you can have peace of mind through the Holy Spirit knowing that our loving Father has a plan for your family.

Remember, you are not alone. God’s presence is always near you and your present troubles known to Him because He loves you so much.

He understands the hardest thing in your most difficult time right now come in waves. Like not carrying your baby to full term, not hearing your baby’s heart, and the constant feelings of loss and pain you’ll now navigate through the rest of your life.

Turn to God in prayer, lean on His promises, and trust that He will carry you through the storm.

You’ll always find peace in Him and his Son, Jesus Christ and may these miscarriage scriptures bring you hope, comfort, and healing during this difficult time.
